| Personal History | Valok was born on the civilian ship SS Madison to his Vulcan mother T'Kel, and Betazoid father Rav Larel. As a child he had a bit of a hard time adjusting to his blended nature. With help, he was able to learn to find balance, but at times finds it difficult. His parents also both tried to turn him into a perfect Vulcan and Betazoid, almost obsessively. This lead to their eventual divorce and him constantly being shuttled between homes. After attending standard school on Vulcan, he went to the University of Betazed where he graduated with a degree in psychology. He then went on to get his medical degree to widen his options.
